The recipient of numerous honors and awards, janan currently teaches at Indiana University and in the Monroe County Correctional Center, edits poetry at The Rumpus, and curates MONDAYS ARE FREE, a Substack collaboration by BFF poets Ross Gay and Pat Rosal.
